Does anyone know what time the ESC (English Speaking Club) at Youth Cultural Academy begin? Morning and Afternoon? I need practicing my speaking because of my terrible pronunciation.

- spamming here: spammers used very short and bad English syntax to prove their writting skill :starwars: (awww!!!)
- to Forzet: how to improve pronunciations? in my opinion, the most important is the stress of words and u can check them out easily in sum dictionaries. I myself pratice my pronunciation by listening slowly or watching some reports of CNN or VOA (VOA is better for ya). Secondly, everymorning I stand front of the mirrow and make speeches while imagining i m giving a talk front of a crowd. This helps u more confident in speaking. That's just sum of my experiences i wanna share to you, hope they're useful! :sorcerer:

 

good talk dude. However, have u ever thought of people simplify their sentence's structure for saving time or since they are lazy instead of showing off? I have a bad feeling of u poiting ur finger at me for using such bad E structures. is dat rite?? As the purpose of this topic has been cleared so far pple coming to this topic to shoot the breeze rather than to seriously talk about a given topic. So stuff like showing off, I think, does not exist here. If it does, just a few of them man. Are you being stereotyping to take an individual to talk about a whole? Give up that kind of thought dude!!! Being here you are abviously known as accepting the spammer' rules. So things like grammatical simplifying or words abrreviating, again, not a big deal here. Unless you wanna ask sthings related to grammar points, we will replied them in an accademically approriate way.

About, pronunciaton iprovement guys my only advised is talk to others and carefully hear others talk. However, talking with native speakers are more likely recommended. Watching films, listening to news are also options. However, the perfect way is to put urself in the environment that highly reqired you to speak English.

In conclusion, buying my perfume will help. Why? Buy it and you will get details!!!!!

"Dude" may also be used alone in a sentence, serving as an exclamation; denoting a feeling of surprise, happiness, disappointment, amazement or anger, among other emotions. i know that there are both :morning and afternoon . in the morning, the club is held at the hall where is a dancing club in the evening .and in the afternoon ,the attendants will enter the small room where are used for teaching english in the normal days and make pairs to talk each other .
however ,if you're lucky ,you will join a good english pronunciation group to show your skills (note:your english level must be equal to them) .I sometimes take part in that club but i'm not lucky and cannot improve anything from the group i join .after that ,i quit .

 

So actually, do you work in pair or in group? There are words confusing, mate!! I am kind of interested in that kind of club and thinking about participating in that club someday. So, could you guys give me its address? Really, I dun know where the hell it is :wallbash:

 

How can I use AutoLook function of LacViet in FireFox? It very easy in IE but I cant use it in FireFox. Please help meeeeeeeeee. Thanks so much.

 

If you use a quick translating function of LV, you soon will forget how to write those word. That's a reason I always use a Dictionary Book (Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary) and always type word in the box search of English Study 4.1 Dictionary.

About pronunciation, I have change my idea. I think, speaking at ESC will improve my native reflection in speaking. I'm now studying in ACET, they help me a lot in pronouncing any words. When I have free time, I will post here

nah, You guys have been making heaps of mistakes out there. Mistakes like order of words are believed to be tiny, but it is a big problem of words understanding for readers. That kind of mistake can be pointed our from u guys post is the word “box search”, it should be changed in to “searching box”. Also, guess what, I’ve recently discovered some new alien-use-only kind of E-structures meaning structures that I’ve never ever used or heard people using them b4. They were vastly appeared in silence coolboy’s post. What I meant b4 is not a purpose of insulting you guys, but I do expect you guys use words and structure that you have studied only, strange words or unknown structures should be consulted b4 being used. I will try to help you guys to correct u guys’ mistakes as many as possible. However, I do yearn for self-correcting b4 being corrected. Moreover, for people want to give a helping hand, I think your English have to be much higher than most people meaning you have to tighten your grammar in your post first. Simple mistakes like, using bare-infinity after the verb “to make”, 5-star hotel instead of 5 stars hotel, or even using slang like wanna should be careful enough not to put “to” after it, should be considered in your next post.
Almost forgot, should we be more aware of plural from of words being put at the right place cuz sometimes you do not put plural from of words at places they should be and vice versa. And last but not least, article should be put no matter what in front of a singular now.

Am I digressing from our main topic again? Issue being raised here is not about where to hold an English speaking club but about where you think it is suitable to hold this club. About RMIT, it is my suggestion to hold E-speaking club but its self does exists this kind of club but it is exclusively held for RMIT students only.
