yes, correctly ... Watching movie, listening music just only the way which help u improve ur Eng skill. Otherwise, you have to try more from reading magazines ( improving ur vocabularies) and practice writing. ^^

Our Viese is very good in grammar ( during secondary and highschool , we have learnt a lot) but we dun know how to apply, how to use its in writing an essay, or paragraph. ^^

 

For me, i spend most of my time just watching vids on youtube of many uploaders such as Kevjumba, Nigahiga, Timothydelaghetto, etc... it helps me a lot to get American accent.
Anyway, i also enjoy watching American films, tv shows and listening to US-UK music cuz i cant stand that kind of teenager's Vpop.

 

be careful with those American accent... your academic Eng will be effected a lot... And the way they use Eng in movie or even music sometimes it s not correct ...

:shame: i'm addicted in Korean Music, but I used to read translation when listen to them ^^ ... so hoping that I can get another language :smile:

 

Well...my dad is now a teacher of English, he used to work in Tan Son Nhat Airport as an air traffic controller, he had to communicate with pilots by English so he can use that language as his mother tongue. I've learnt a lot of speaking from him.

Everyone can choose their own way to learn English, but one thing you should consider is that what is your purpose of learning English .

One thing about K-Pop, i do not know why people are so addicted to it, anyway , it is not the main point of this topic, so dont stick with it

So, i know 2 places for practicing English (only speaking), one is Drink and Talk coffee which is already mentioned, and one is Sozo coffee which is located in Bui Vien Street. They have interesting activities to practice your English by speaking to other people, also it is a very good chance to make new friend sharing the same interest in English

Unfortunately, i'm also lazy ^^... The way I study Eng is I used to read manga ( online), or some novels, or sagas :confident: I stand by Eng music since I was a kid, so that I also dun know when did I can get improve of my Eng. But, in my opinions, sincerely advicing u that study vocabularies, and practice discuss around by Eng is the fastest way for u to improve it. I used to challenge and quarrel with my housemates by Eng around 2 years ago, and :sad: my Eng improved like hell ^^

I luv to listen to catchy songs, and watch handsome guys... Yeah, people used to tell they are plastic surgerry productions, but I dun care. I like K-pop but I used to read the translation by Eng not Vie. The reason why I do that because I wanna learnt another language, however I dun really have much spare time rite now ... :sad:

I think Kevjumba is the best, funny vids but not too much nonsense or too many bad words as Timothy but I really like How NOT to kiss of Tim. The way he kisses the girl makes me roflmao anytime i watch it.
